*EDIT* My new DC2 got broken into..pg6 details

last friday my si got jacked.. real C5's gone.. engine gone,tranny, axles, all gone.. int gone.. doors gone.. everyhting soo gone.. the car was recovered 20 hours later like that ..2 weeks ealrier they broke into my car and stole my system and other stuff..

sucks to hear man...another one bites the dust. I hope you had some type of insurance to cover for your loss

 

This theft thing is getting out of control in So Cal, seams like everyday I see at least 2-3 stolen car threads

its getting really bad here in so cal now. i need to find a bucket to drive around in everyday so i can keep my car locked up at home.

Damn almost don't even want a honda anymore Yea my 95 civic was stolen and im puting it back together as we speak, but it almost got stolen again. Theifs almost win I was decideing to sell my car. I know how you feel, just have to start over and try not to get depressed.

I hear that. I've been considering buying a Civic, but with so many thefts being reported it's making me wonder if it's gonna be worth it.

 

Yup, this is like the 6th one since Monday. Sorry about your loss, looked VERY clean .

 

this is a given. just gotta try to prevent as much as possible. stock or not, new or old, even a damn bucket will get stolen for a cruise

i know how u feel mine got stolen last monday.. sucks but im stickin with honda.. eg hatch now..

Sorry to hear about your loss...But Autolock isn't going to help unfortunately. If they want your car, they're gonna take it. This is exactly why I have a daily now. Especially because I live in Long Beach..Long Beach isn't Honda-Safe.. Not even w/ cops..

 

how would u get an autolock off ne how..

 

an autolock means nothing if they tow it

Not sure about in Cali, but up here in MA, they got this fenced in area where they hide stolen hondas all the time...They park a couple of eighteen wheeler cargos in front of them, and then during the night, load them onto the trucks, drive out of state, and ship them to Africa.

well then dont you think it was the same people and now they have all four center caps so how you gonna know who got your rims?

Im right there with you man.. my Si was stolen in May and they never even found it. Its vanished, apparently an entire car can disappear all of a sudden. Sorry about your SI man. At times like this you want to find the punks and beat them to an inch of their lives.

Within an inch of their lives? Kill them, their families, pets and anyone they've ever loved. I have always felt that do whatever you must but just don't **** with another man's automobile.
