Default Major Water Leaking Problem

I really need help. As you know, in San Francisco theres alot of hills, especially steep ones. And the past few weeks, or should I say months, is was raining hard.

I parked my car on my street facing downward with the steering wheel toward the right, I left the car there for 3 days straight and it was pouring for 3 days straight. When I went inside, the whole passenger side floor was soak, there were like 6 inch water. The whole back seat was soak. The trunk was soak also, the spare tire was swimming in water. I manage to dry it all for now. It almost damage my ECU....

All I want to know is if this is a common problem that happen before among us Prelude guys. If not then I will try to figure it out. If it is then maybe someone can tell me how they went about to fix this issue. This really annoys me.

Soon I am going to check the tailight and sunroof. You guys said those 2 spot might be the source of the problem.

Anyone out there that can help? Thank in advance.

Seems like you lude has some serious issues. First off wow. 6 inches in the trunk thats insane. Id have a qualified shop check out your sunoof and windows. The seals between your sunroof and roof must be completely shot. Good Luck.

still one of your seals is broken somewhere obviously.

do you notice any wind in the car or excess road noises in certian parts of teh car when you are driving? if so check there first.

however, since its in the trunk as well, and you were facing downhill, its a good chance its going to be your trunk seal. then the water just seeped into the rest of the car from there.

My car got broken into the passenger side door/window frame was bent out. I bent it back and it looked like it lined up perfect. but then came the water leaks. I never was able to find out exactly where it was coming from because it looked like the seal was ok.

Now I have a new lude. and guess what it leaks. I think its my sunroof/drain tube. I have actually seen water come out of the plastic trim in the ceiling. my back seat gets wet and passenger side floor. not sure about my trunk.

I havent gotten to tear apart the new lude. once I do that I should find the hole in the drain tube or the clog.

hope anyof this information helps

I used my compressor and steadly increased the PSI to blow out each sunroof drain, to eliminate the clogged theory.
