On an obd1 gsr, what color wire from the ecu does the signal wire from the air fuel gauge splice into? I have a chiltons shop manual and it says air fuel sensor is the white/red wire....but my gauge isnt responding when hooked up this way. Does anyone kno if this is correct? otherwise i need to swop out the gauge to see if its bad

 

Wait... air fuel ratio. Isnt that one unbelievably easy to install. If im not mistaken, the purple wire from the meter has to bicect the oxygen sensor... I never touched my ECU.
