I went out and bought the Oem Face door piece, the one that every crx owner has lost at some point...The one that connects to the door and the trim fits over it right next to the window....anyway...
How do i put that on....I looked at the clips and suffice to say I'm angry i am going to break it....ANy help with how to properly secure this ******* piece to the door.

 

i think ud have to buy new clips and all. it should have came with like what 3 clips on the black piece, then there should be 3 white clips inside the door. i know thats how it goes but not sure if they came with ur stuff.

 

Ok on the door the slots on the door....where the white clips meet up on the door...And then where the window meets up with this thing...there are the clips inside of the door. So i don't know.....i am so argg....bleh...i'm gonna leave it alone for a while

I just bought new OEM door moldings - just got these bad boys tonight. Anxious to get them in, here's hoping I don't have as much trouble as you are!

yea but see the reason ur old one came off is because the black ends that stick out, broke off in the white things anyway most likely. so u can try to poke them out or just get NEW white clips and take a screw driver and go to hell on the other ones. then stick the new ones in and ur good to go. honestly id just change the white clips cause they get work and cracky so they break down the road and ur screwed again!

 

got it to stick.....I love it....and i just finished installing my new regulator....and my window works again now.....my car is slowly coming back to life....Cosmetically

 

for anyone else who reads this, here's how i did it:

the new pieces should come with 3 white clips in the middle, and 3 intact plastic "loops" that connect to 3 clips already in the door. roll down the window, pull out the rubber molding that the window slides up, and there should be 6 screws, three of which hold those white clips in. remove screws and clips, clip the clips onto the plastic piece, snap it to the door, replace screws, replace molding, roll up window, have beer.
