Adjust the valves. My old jdm dohc zc was notorious for ticking valves. Even when they were properly adjusted the ticking was there albeit not as loud. Also OBD0 injectors are known to be loud as well. I know my b16a injectors are pretty loud under operation.

Could it be coming from the dizzy? My dizzy started making skraping and ticking noises before it went out.

Ok i misread you original post. So it only does it while driving? Is it a ticking, scraping, squeeling?

sounds like a lifter, adjust the valves. and if they does not fix it then we can move further. until you try and fix that, that is going to be the main response you get.

GOOD LUCK

Definately check your lifters (valve lash) first, then move on from there
