i was checking my timing because its been advanced when i bought the car and i have a question. the distributor has been moved towards the front of the car all the way it can go. i used a timing light and my question is, which line on the crankshaft pulley is the one im supposed to line up??? there's a white one and a red one. could anybody set me straight?

 

White is the one you should be aiming for.

 

There should be 3 marks together shouldn't there? Middle one for stock, one for 2 degrees advanced and one for 2 degrees retarded? Then there's the single white mark away from the rest that signifies TDC.

 

I thought it was 1 degree apart
15 16 and 17?
