Compression calculator
What's the site that has a compression calculator. I searched but couldn't find it, I saw it earlier last week, but the topic was something else and someone added it in. Anyways where is the damn compression calculator. Thanks in advance.
Hey, just for some info... I'm sure lots of you already know this, but for those who don't...
If you have your engine open, and you are using an aftermarket piston and moded block and/or head(valves, decked, de-shrouded, etc) or any engine combo at all, you can still figure out your compression ratio.
The CR is just the RATIO of cylinder Volume when the piston is at bottom dead center and cylinder volume when the piston is at top dead center.
SO mathematically: (Cyl. Vol. w/Piston @BDC)/(Cyl. Vol. w/Piston @TDC)
The "/" is "divided by."
The physical measurement of the volumes is a bit tricky and complicated to explain here, but there are a number of ways to do it.
Happy calculating.
