Controlling VTEC through a VAFC with DX ECU
i just did my mini-me, and it seems to run ok... besides the ghetto *** DX distributor fab job. have taken it to 6500 and it didnt break yet... but heres my question
Im controlling my VTEC using a VAFC, because im running a mugen chipped P06.
On the VAFC wiring, it shows you need to hook up your VTEC input and output wires to the ECU. Input wires go from the selnoid and switch, through the VAFC, then out to the ECU. Now seeing on how my DX ecu doesnt have VTEC at all, should i just replace the VTEC input wires to the ECU with the VAFC output wires that i have connected directly to the Selnoid and pressure switch? Right now i have it wired up exactally how the manual says... and i cant tell if VTEC is hitting or not when i drive it. I also tried listening for the selnoid to click over, and i didnt hear anything.
any help would be appriciated thanks
