94-97 Accord mirror question
I just got hit-and-run on my driver side mirror on my 1994 Accord EX 2dr. I searched on ebay and only 4dr mirrors are available. I know 2dr mirrors and 4dr mirrors have different part number but I thought their appearance just look the same. Has anybody tried to put a 4dr mirror on 2dr? Do you know if the 4dr mirror will fit 2dr with very little modifications?
Thanks
Thanks

Are you really sure about this? I don't want to order the useless part.. also I am confused about them having different part numbers if they are identical.
Thank you so much

So I can't bolt the 4dr mirror to the 2dr chassis without modification since they have different bolt pattern?
Thanks

ANS : Again if youre talking about removing the whole sidemirror assy from a 4door then transfer to a 2dr it wont fit. you can but you need to drill/revise the holes onto the door

learn from my experience. I bought a pair of 4dr sidemirror assy they wont fit unto a 2dr. i had to take apart the mirror assy and transfer the 2dr stem unto the 4dr mirror housing

you can make it fit (if your desperate) but you need to enlarge the 2 holes and make a completely new hole for the 3rd bolt
