need alignment?
had to take my car to get it tested for emissions today...
while on the rollers, my car kept swaying from side to side as the tester tried to get to 50 mph. so he got out, put some stops on my rear tires, and tried it again, but my front end still kept moving back and forth. he got out and told me i needed an alignment bad, and that he couldnt finish the test. he talked to his manager im guessing and luckily they passed me, but i was wondering if any of you guys had this problem and if it really is an alignment problem or are there any other things i should consider replacing?
thanks

well its drives decent on the street, steering wheel starts vibrating lightly at high speeds, but other than that, it isnt too bad. i mean, when i had the car on h&r race springs, the alignment was off and i never got it fixed, but i switched to ground control coilovers and raised the car a bit, and the alignment seemed to be fine. tire wear isnt crucially uneven either...

Then you don't.
Don't go off what the guy at the place said, half of the time they don't know ****.
And don't worry, just had emissions back in December and my car did the same thing, but mine actually does pull to one side but I think its because of the rim. Anyways, if you stood there longer and watched more cars, you would see they do the same thing. Sounds like an excuse.
