Default Door Problem

My driver side door is stuck shut... it won't open.. i have shaved handles... the only way in is to leave the window down.., or crawl through the hatch... any suggestions to get it open??

get a new door poper? but befire u do that just saw the door off makes the car lighter and is a new jdm craze

Dude, shut up.

Should of never gotten the shaved dooor handle's. I guess you can crawel through the hatch liek you said.

the car was meant for strictly show, and now i can't get in....the door will pop open, just the door is locked from the inside... any idea on how to get that fixed?

you could try to do the ghetto and use a coat hanger and get it in between the window adn the door and try to unlock it.... I don't know if that will help but hey at least im giving some advice =P unlike that loser moses

You have to open up the door and remove the panel to get at the internals.

Once you have it opened up check your solenoid to make sure its pulling like it should, if you have a popper make sure its pushing the door out enough, to clear the latch otherwise the door will open up but not swing out effectivly shutting it all over again on you.

Check those two things, If thats not the case adjust the linkage going to your solenoid I wanted to go to the shaved handle look too but never did because of just that proplem.

thanks for the sugg, my poppers are the shitty trunk pops that are only 30 or 35 psi, which only pops my door when it works, like 2 inchs, and if u dont catch it, u gotta do it over again.. shaved handles as it goods and bads, car shows its good... cases like this... its shitty! and also, if ur big into racing don't get them... ur not allowed to run on the track without handles unless if its outlaw night(i think). If u know of any 96-00 driver and passenger doors come around.. let me know
