Default After wreck hood bulge...?

I wrecked my CRX months ago, and hundreds of dollars later I'm about ready to start driving her again... I'm having trouble with my hood though. All the body lines on the car are fine, but when I try to latch my hood now, the rear of it bulges a lot and it won't shut right. I'm not sure why this is happening. Any ideas? Should I just use washers to get it lined up again? Thanks for any input.

Maybe try to remove the hood and check out all of the places where it connects to your CRX; like the 2 hinges, and the latch piece between your headlights.

do you have a swap?

could it be hitting your motor?

any rub marks on the hood or valve cover?

the OEM hood has alot more material under the hood. i would really take a good close look to see if its infact making contact. if the hood is buldging in the center.... what else could it be?

yeah i know it would seem to be the eng. but i had this hood on befor with the swap and it worked i have also placed tape upside down on the eng shut the hood so if the hood was hit any the tape would stick and i would know thats the spot that hit but it didnt.

i think it has something to do with the little clip on the front of the hood that locks in i think it needs top be down farther than it is but i cant get it to unscrew to make it longer i go crazy on it today and see what i can do.
