i just bought a 93 civic ex coupe about 3 weeks ago, and the keyless entry worked every time i used it. gradually it started working every now and then, and now, it wont work at all.

the battery in the remote is good. it's an ATV keyless entry system. i'm not sure if that's stock or not. any ideas on what could be wrong? and where exactly is the transmitter located on the car?

nobody can even tell me where the transmitter is on the car?

 

the tranmitter is in your hand, the receiver is in your car, probably under the driver's side dash somewhere

 

yeah i looked there and couldn't find it. even if i did, i'm not sure what good that would do.
