Key stuck in ignition HELP!
I have a 91 civic, i just converted it to a manual. the key wont come out of the ignition because the car is not in park
(dosnt exist anymore). How do I fix this? Help!

I remember having seen people bypass it. Its a sensor or something like that. Search around, it wasn't long ago. Or you could try to look at a wiring diagram for the automatic version of the car and bypass the sensor/switch that locks it.

"This one is easy to spot because it has two heavy black wires instead of the other with two yellow wires. Just connect them in a simple loop." Believe it or not i used yur advice to do the whole conversion. I took the harness with the two black wires and made a loop that attached them both together but it dosnt work. Did I connect it right?

it kinda reminded me of the first time i drove my mustang. Story goes somthing like...driving off from the lot, getting to best friends house and key won't come out. But on fords there is a littl ebutton under the steering wheel i didn't know about.

heh my old silverado had one of those too...only exception: i could take out the key when it was running

Well the problem to me sounds like you need to get a new computer that is set up for a manual transmissin because it is still sending the signal for the automatic gearing. Or you might need to get a new ignition if that dont work
