Default whats a good selling price for d15z1 vtec-e

need to know how much i could get for my d15z1. its out of a 94 vx with about 120,000 on it. trans has been rebuilt within the past year. what do you guys think is a good selling price for it?

i would also like to know how much i could get for a d15 out of a 91 crx hf that has about 150,000 on it and need valves adjusted.

as soon as i get some info i will post them up in classifieds. thanks in advance.

I would say $200-$300 for the D15Z1 motor and tranny. The CRX D15, is basically worthless. I just got one for FREE the other day. If you do try to sell it though, maybe $50?

i wouldnt pay anything to be honest because I wouldnt pay for an engine with that many miles. If you sold it for 300 you could get a d16y8 with 75k for like 400-450 complete. I would say give it away or 100

I tried selling mine for 3 months for $100. No one wanted it. So I started parting it out. I sold the wiring harness for $85, o2 sensor for $50, intake manifold and throttle body for $50, throttle body cable for $5, mounts for $30, tranny for $45, cat and down pipe for $45, airbox for $35, ecu for $45, axles for $40. I still have the head and top half of the exhaust manifold. I ended up making $430 on it so far. You will never get that for the complete motor.

yeah typically somoene who just blew their engine and has no money wants those engines. their value from a private seller is nothing though. at least with a salvage yard a warranty can be offered while a private seller has to sell as is since they are not likely to be able to replace a bad engine.
parting it out is really the only way to make anythign you jsut ahve to be ready to have those parts sitting forever.

Yeah you'll probably make alittle more. I am probably going to take that upper exhaust manifold stuff from you
