i just got a set of GSR brakes and the calipers look like poo. i dont want to have to paint them black.. any advice?? thanxx

 

brake cleaner and the shoot it with high temp brake paint like silver

 

well i was trying to avoid painting them, id rather have the OEM finish. i wasn't sure if that was possible

Poo?! So your calipers are brown?

you could sandblast them, but they will have surface corrosion

Well..have you tried anything so far to get the poo off? ie. simple green, carb cleaner, aircraft stripper etc.

 

jacking, but.. I got rust on my disc's where they mount to the hub, same removal process or wd40 and a wire brush?
