Default number on crank

what does the numbers on the H22A4 crank mean?
they are near the rod journals, at each rod journal there is 1 letter and 1 number.
E.G. D6, C6 etc....

i believe it is for the bearings. Honda made a few different variants of the rod bearings depending on wear and casting etc..
