Hey guys i just put a swap in to my eg hatch and once the car gets warmed up it is misfiring. I have my fan direct wired so i turned that on and it cooled the car down when i was driving when it would get cooler it does not misfire whats going on here?

 

Plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor. Cheap swaps and see if that helps, if not, go from there.

I had the same problem about a month ago when it was real cold, it randomly misfired (both times on cyl #1) on a couple of cold starts. I had just replaced the wires shortly before, swapped my plugs, got a new cap and rotor (the pair can be found for under $20 here on HT in the sponsors section).

 

when was the last time u had a tune up? maybe its time for another one

Well i just thought i would give you a update i replaced the cap, rotor,plugs and wires. The plugs looked like they could of used a change and the ******* wires where like 12yrs old what the hell you own a motor and never change the plugs? I hope the rest of the motor was not abused
