ignition timing on my 91 crx with sohc jspec zc d16a6 replacment
I just swapped out my d16a6 for a j-spec replacment. and i dont know if the ignition timing is the same. and if it is the same which mark on the crank am i supposed to allign it with. my hays manual says to look under the hood. but i have an aftermarket hood. so i have no idea what im doing. please help.

There should be four marks. Three in a group and one all by itself. The one by itself is used to set tdc when installing the timing belt. The other three are the timing marks. You should set the timing to the middle mark which is stock timing.
10 degrees retard, or 10 degrees advanced?
