Default Running p28 on 1997 obd2 h22? car dieing when i stop??????????

i have a p28 ecu and want to run it on my 1997 prelude, i was wondering what else i need inorder to use the ecu? i have peek and hold injectors with clips and a resistor box, is that all? my friend was telling me i need obd1 distributor also?? didnt make sense... thankx

Also i have another problem, my engine was just rebuilt and the new turbo on and everything, when i drive it and come to a stop or put the clutch in and let the rpms drop the car cuts out and goes off. then it will restart and hold idle? i dont get it? intake manifold problem?

well you dont need to put in the injectors and the resistor box for the p28. but if you put in the injectors you have to put in the resistor box.

also what are you running besides the stock p28 for fuel.

and You dont need to switch the distributor.

so just plug in the ecu and harness and you will be fine.

as for the stalling not sure. anycheck engine lights?

no check engine lights...... when i first start it, it holds idle but after moving and stopping it cuts off.... i have no idea, i have an exhaust leak i have to weld this weekend but that shouldnt make it cut out right?

i currently have a fmu, stock injectors and ecu with a walbro 255 pump, i am putting 720 injectors with the p28 and resistor box.

Are you going to use Hondata/standalone? If not, why are you going to use a p28? Anyways, to just "USE" the ecu, all you need is a OBD converter harness to connect the OBD-1 ecu to your Prelude's OBD-2 factory harness...

There is no reason for you to be running a p28 ecu without hondata or uberdata or chrome or some type of engine management. You are just gonna kill your motor. Stop being a tard and put the stock ECU back in.
