Default 0bd1 head on my 0bd0 b18a block

two quick questions i swapped the heads on my obd0 block to a obd1 head because a friend told me it would be better, but i am unsure if i would need to a 0bd1 or 0bd0 distributor for it since the camshafts are different. My other question is regarding the headstuds i forgot how they are bolted into the block, better yet said which stud goes to which hole in the block? Does anyone have a diagram? and back to the distibutor if i have to use an obd1 distributor can i saughter the wires to make it fit obd0 plugs?

Why would you change the whole head?? Why not just the cams and intake manifold? The distributor will not effect the cams. You can splice in OBD-O plugs without a problem, just match up the wires. I used OBD-O plugs with my OBD-II distributor.

Default Re: 0bd1 head on my 0bd0 b18a block (Mr. S)

the setup is for my ls crx, the only reason i swapped the head is because the old head head had like 30000 extra miles on it than the obd1 did. the obd1 was a cleaner head. now the only question i have is where do the head studs go in order mounted int he block(in order) i.e. where do each of the short and two long studs go- postioning wise) need answer!!!!
