i gotta take my car to get it tuned. will i be ok if i run my ECU with hondata that was previously tuned with different specs? all i know is it's tuned for 550s and a built LS/VTEC motor. i only have 440s with stock motor. what can i do?

can i use a automatic LS ECU or something just to get there? it's a LS motor. is there anyway to erase the previous specs?

no you can't run on those maps. You will probably run lean as **** considering that motor was tuned for 550's and you only have 440's. For the 550's the fuel values have to be scaled down lower than the 440's.

 

can a tuner scale it down or do anything so i can drive it to get it tuned?

 

yes just use the option in hondata to rescale the maps for the smaller injectors. It should be enough to get you to the tuner. I wouldn't push it on those maps though..in fact its probably just to make a basemap for your setup rather than use that guy's maps.

you would need the hondata software and a burner.
