Default Mugen Lowdown suspension...EG vs ITR revisited

For some reason, I can't reply on *archived* topics. Please let me know what you think. If I can save $450...then transfer my ITR suspension to my EG...I will do this very soon.

Someone replied in the original thread that the Mugen catalog has different spring rates for the ITR and EG Lowdown suspensions... Would you rather spend $1000 for the wrong parts or $1450 for the right ones?! If there wasn't any difference between them, then they would cost the same (just like the N1 suspensions).

YD, I'm not too sure about the EG suspension. But for the EK, the spring rates are different; therefore I would imagine the spring rates would also be different between the kits for EG and ITR.

EK -- F5K, R4.6K
DC -- F6.8, R4.5K

Looks like Mugen tuned those suspensions differently so saving that $450 might not be justified. HTH.
