Default This is my last Koni/GC question, I swear. Simple question....

pretty simple. when installing the GC sleeve on the Koni shock, do I just put it on the circlip? I believe when i installed my fronts, i put a spacer on the circlip then put the sleeve on. was this wrong?

it seemed like id need something more supportive than just that little circlip.

thanx again.

If the GC sleeves have a groove cut to capture the circlip, then put it right on top. If there is no groove in the sleeve, then you might need a spacer with a groove to capture the circlip. When properly loaded evenly and captured so it won't expand, one circlip alone can hold well more than the entire weight of your car. Spread the car's weight out onto four circlips and it can hold much much more when properly installed.

Where is your circlip captureing grrove? In the sleeve, in a spacer or no where? That is the key.

i ordered the GCs for the Koni shocks, so i would imagine it is on the sleeve itself. i will be finishing the install this sunday. thank you for the quick reply. i just thought the circlip wouldnt be strong enough to hold the weight of the car.

thanx man
