exactly..in order for the clutch packs to die...you must have had some symptoms before. If no symptoms...it could be a bad transmission computer.

is this problem fixable cause my car does the same thing only at 5500rpms and its really annoying, it just like bogs out, and you have to let off the gas and kick her back down again, for it to come out of it... it sucks especially on the highway when your trying to pass grandma and can't make it by her and have to pull back in!!
i know its no race machine, but i don't think i ever had it going anymore then 120kms\h so like 80mph, sure that's plenty fast, but when you want to pass someone and can't it sucks!! haha

same thing happened to mine, i had mine swapped out, and on the new transmission, i had to keep topping off the tranny fluid or else it'd do the same damn thing. it's annoying as ****. i think one of the seals are gone on my tranny. a bloody shame. Good luck with you, my transmission cost me 700 cdn. ouch
