Default Defi Gauge Install

Hey,

Does anyone have any pics of where they posted their Defi Gauges? I performed a search under Defi gauges and saw some pictures however just curious if anyone else had any they would like to share...

Thanks,

Steve

Why did you search only for Defi...gauges are gauges, just do a search for Gauges in integra and ITR forums and i'm sure there are 100's of threads, then just look at the threads with the camera icon beside depicting the thread contains photos

Not the D-Gauges.

However, it would be nice to know what TYPE of gauge you are installing, whether it be oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, boost...

As for the electrical part of the installation, I have mine spliced into the dimmer switch. Take off the instrument cluster bezel so you can access behind the dimmer switch. Use a multimeter to determine which wire is which (can't remember). The gauge should have come with instructions on which color wire on the gauge is suppose to go to what wire on the car. You should be able to figure it out.

Best guages if you want to match the amber cluster

I plan to get Defi D's in my car (oil temp, oil pressure) to replace my Autometer's...I like stepper motor better...flame if you must.

BTW, I'm using the Autometer gauge cluster bezel pod...I like how it integrates better than a pillar pod.

I can't believe you placed a smaller tach that lights up green in front of the OEM tach.

To each his own, I suppose.

Because a stack cluster will still cost a few times the cost of all those gauges all added together?

JDM97dc2R: Those are Defi BF series (60mm) in amber. The tach is a 80mm series. I dont have any front view pics yet, but I can take some later on today

That Defi tach has a sentimental value to me. Plus I didn't leave it in my old project car. I didn't want to sell it so I decided to keep it. The Defi tach is atually around 200-300 rpm lower than the stock tach lol, I suppose it's more 'accurate' than the stock one.

Edit: Btw, MooFX has one too, great minds think alike ^^
