Default ES muffler

I was thinking about getting the ES muffler for my 98 LS. I was going to do a custom mandrel bent system, so what are your guys' opinion on this muffler? Does it sound ricey? Thanks in advance.

This may seem like a dumb question, but is the exhaust note different from that of a round body muffler compared to a oval muffler? Thanks, Jason.

Supposedly Oval mufflers are quieter than circle ones, but there are lotsa factors including quality of sound deadening material and such

I was wondering about the ES muffler too! Who has one on their Integra now? Are you using custom piping or...

Opinions? Thoughts?

Oh and how does it sound...

NO ITS NOT MADE BY OBX OR APC, i have one on my integra with 2.25 custom piping with one resonator
and i love the way it sounds.. without the resonator it was deeep and low, now with the resonator its still deep
but real low. when i let someone drive my car it sounds real good at a normal speed. i kinda wish i had left
the resonator off, but it still sounds good to me. everyone that hears it always ask me what kind it is, and then i love the dumb *** people that say "hahaha, he still has his stock exhaust on". i just tell them yep. and one kid told his friends that i had a stock exhaust with a cherry-bomb, i love hearing stuff like that from schmucks that know nothing.
es oval=
and the es N1, sounds just like a 5zigen exhaust.

We are on thesame track.. except i just rebuilt the bottom end and am putting aGSR or ITR head on it with some internals.... As for the looks, i'm right their with you... just need to get my bumpers and side skirts painted. on the rear hatch, however, it is not just the hatch... the switch is electrical... you would have to wire it to an actuator/door popper on the inside of your trunk connected to the latch. I was almost done putting the new hatch on my car when I realized that.

I don't like the muffler for integras. I think it looks better on civic. My opinion.
