A friend of mine purchased the blue top JDM H23A and recently took the engine part to have his block internals balanced and blueprinted. Does anyone know the torque specs for the rod bolts, cylinder head studs, etc for this engine?

Any input will be appreciated.

no **** get a shop manual ***, some people dont have that luxury at hand

out of a helms.....the cylinder head bolts to 72 ft lbs
rod caps- to 34 ft lbs
pm me if you need more

 

specs should be the same as the usdm h23a1

 

are those not correct.....someone confirm that those two are correct for me.....i dont want to give false info

 

I would love to have access to a JDM H23A DOHC VTEC Shop manual sir. I am fully aware of such literature and would not have posted here if i would of had access to the shop manual. Remember, this is the JDM DOHC H23A VTEC Version which was only made in Japan.
