Default Parting out 94 Ex Coupe East Tennessee

I picked up a 94 Ex Coupe to get my hatch back on the road. The car had been fairly well maintained until it got rear ended while parked. The hit took out the most of the rear, and pushed the car forward so that the front took a bit of a hit. This knocks out the rear and front bumpers, passenger side front fender, trunk, and quarters. I got the engine and trans swapped already. I'm taking the windshield and likely some of the fancy interior parts like the power windows and power locks. I'll probably end up with some various other sundries. I won't be needing the power mirrors. Both airbags are good, the glass is good, and the car came with ABS. The interior is gray. The car is purple.

I live in East Tennessee, in Oak Ridge. I can easily ship smaller stuff. Bigger stuff might be a little bit of an issue, but I can work with it. Local pickup of big items would probably be easier all around. I can get pics up of anything you're interested in. Everything that is good on the car is leaving it. I'm selling off the stripped wreck for scrap, so act quickly if you want anything, seeing as how I will need to get the car out of my driveway. If there is a part you need, tell me. I can send a pic, and if you want it, make me an offer. I haven't tried selling on here before, but I want everything to go smoothly and everyone to end up happy.

If anyone has any of the following laying around that they would like to possibly flat trade for some parts, I could use some new ball joints for a 92 Si.

If you PM me and don't have any luck, I would not doubt it a bit. They seem to have fouled up for me before. You can email me at qat727@gmail.com or catch me at AIM SN: qat727

is this car an auto or manual? I need these parts if its manual:

-Clutch Master Cylinder
-Clutch Slave Cylinder
-All Lines and brackets that go between those two above...
-Throttle Cable
--Clutch Pedal (I bought one, but it seems to be in horrible condition.. I am not sure on this part)
How far are you from nasvhille? I am 70 miles north of nashville.

Let me know about how much you want, shipping prices, etc.

Pics would be awesome too!

The car is a 5 speed, same as my Si. I have been having some issues out of my hatch's clutch master, so I may be using that. However I won't be needing the slave or any of the other clutch assembly. The throttle cable is still good. I'll try to get out today and get some pics of all the parts people are wanting.

I haven't considered prices on anything yet. I will do that after I get the pieces of interest pulled and evaluate their condition. As for shipping, I will only charge what it costs me to ship it. If I end up trying to ship out the back glass, I will probably include whatever packaging I have to use on it in the shipping, because I'm not likely to have that laying around. But I hate getting ripped on shipping, and I know I'm not the only one. For shipping prices, they will be actual shipping costs via the shipper of your choice to your location, and for the larger objects, the actual costs of materials to package them. I think that is reasonable. I can work with anyone on shipping.

I'm not exactly sure of a mileage count from here to Nashville. Usually I can make the drive in about 2 hours on the interstate, but I haven't tried lately. If you need a better idea of where I am, I'm about 25 miles west of Knoxville.

For reference, does anyone here know of any good free image hosting so I can post the pics up on the site?

btw.. shipping is what will have to be done.. I have been to knoxville and I don't think i'd want to drive there just to pick up those parts.. thanks for the quick reply

I am going to try to get the camera charged up this evening so I can get some pictures taken tomorrow. I should be able to start getting parts off then and getting them photographed. Thanks for all the interest.

pm'd!!!

just in case you dont get it, i wrote:

do you have the a/c harness? if so i'd like to buy it. its the one that plugs into the fan and has 2 relays and goes across the front of your car and plugs into another plug behind the passenger headlight. if you could take a pic, that'd be great. i also need the 4 bolts that bolt the compressor to the a/c bracket and the a/c belt. lmk!!

The a/c harness is still there. I'll see about it. I think someone might have already called dibs on it, but if not, you've got it. As for the four bolts, I have them, now where they are is another question altogether. I'll look for them and see if I can get all photographed.

Well, the wheels that are on the Ex are going on my Si, and the rims I have are getting sold. If you want them, I'll sell those to you. I've got a link to my car in my sig.

That's cool, I've got a set of 17's I'm wanting to get rid of now to go to something smaller, but I'll keep an eye out for any potential buyers for ya. Good luck with getting everything swapped over.

btw, that thing doesn't by a chance have a radio still in it does it? I'm trying to find something to throw in my car. Thanks.

Default Started ripping it apart.

I started getting the interior apart, so hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get all the parts off that everyone has laid dibs on and get pics up of them. Sorry it's been taking so long, but it's been freezing and rainy and muddy, simply not the kind of weather I like to mess with cars in. But tomorrow looks like it ought to be sunny and warm, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a productive day.

How about the doors? Condition of the exterior (dents, dings, rust, etc.)? Please let me know via email at legend31@bellsouth.net
Thanks!

Doors look good, but they have already been called. I have been tearing the car apart, and the dash will hopefully come out today. The rest of the interior is already out and in the garage floor. If there's anything odd that people are in need of, give me a holler. I probably have it out already. There's still a lot of good parts up for grabs.
