TEG STRUT BARS...
Im looking for super stiff welded front and rear strut bars for my car. I was thinking benen for both. Anyone have opinions, please share and tell why you like the bars. I want a c-pillar bar too, but want to know if people can still sit in the backseat without hitting their heads on the bar.
Benen makes some pretty good stuff. I've never known anyone disappointed with one of their strut bars.
Regarding the C-pillar bar. Don't plan on having head clearance if you're older than 12.

Personally, I got Neuspeed front and rear, and soon lower. I absolutely love them. Night and day difference. If you're gonna put a C-pillar bar in, nobody should be in the back seat. They will hit their heads and die...
C pillar bar is not a problem with bros in the back. Though if you ever got a roll cage, I wouldn't let people sit back there.
I personally have SPOON front and rear strut tower braces but when your dealing with stuff like this you need to look at the whole package. Since it is a suspension upgrade, you need to take into account the whole suspension. As far as simply upgrading the front and rear strut tower braces, you will feel little if not any difference. To give you an idea on the whole package, in my car I have 10 different braces:
SPOON front lower tie rod brace
OEM front Type R tie rod brace
SPOON rear lower tie rod brace
OEM rear Type R tie rod brace
SPOON front strut tower brace
SPOON rear strut tower brace
SPOON C-pillar brace
OEM Type R rear lower arm brace (near B pillar)
OEM Type R rear performance brace
4-point weld in roll bar
There is also coilovers on my car. Can I feel a difference? Night and day. The strut tower braces will tie the shocks to gether and try and get them to work better together, but again I feel with my experience simply installing these two items will yeild little as far as handling goes. Remember, it's about the whole package that matters.
