Default Too stiff?

I currently have a Neuspeed 4pt. strut bar for the front of my Integra and a Matrix rear lower tie bar. I plan on adding a rear upper strut bar, will this cause any problems with all these strut/tie bars on my car? Such as suspension now being too stiff or wearing out easier? Any other problems?

Adding the bars will only make the chassis stiffer not the suspension. If anything the ride would improve and the car get quieter. That's why every new car model claims "5 billion% stiffer chassis!!!!" implying that the old one was a wet noodle. The bar in back does compromise cargo carrying ability.

I agree w/ Mo but Ideally you want to have matching components, unless you know exactly how stiff the bars are and how they affect your ride, such as all Neuspeeds or all Matrix bars, because the manufacturer develop them to work together

I guess it the chasis then, so will adding too many strut/tie bar damage the chasis?

I plan on getting a Matrix rear upper strut bar (*it's cheap but pretty good quality*)

I have a 4-door Integra but I rarely use the trunk much, so adding the rear strut bar which affect me too much.

well i don't think there is such a thing as too stiff as a result of tie bars, but the quality of matrix bars is questionable i think.

i know exactly what you are talking about
i think our cars would benefit from a bit of rigidity in that area, i noticed the creaks and groans that are made when i mount a kerb or a driveway at a shallow angle, i noticed that my friends car with rear strut and trunk brace doesn't have the creaking noise...

i have a DC2 with 5 strut bars in total.
all cusco + factory item in front.
car is very nice to handle.
hasn't affect the firmness of the ride at all.
Unless you are thinking of track racing, having all the bars the same or same stifness isn't going to make too much of a difference
