Thanks in advance
it's just like any other H22 swap into an accord... you can use your auto tranny from your accord motor. search around and you will find the info you need.
It is possible, and has been done several times, just use any Auto F22 or H22/3 tranny. Instead of the flywheel and clutch, the torque converter goes there, really easy. You will need to find an auto H22 ecu, check ebay, prolly find one cheap on there.
yes it can be done. i have a h22 auto in my 91 accord wagon. bought the complete swap on ebay for $1895. if you want to keep it auto i would only go with the h22 tranny. the f22 can't handle that type of power for to long. my f22a6 tranny went with the stock f22a6 motor. now if you go 5 spd the f22 and h23 is fine, especially if you plan on boosting. if you stay n/a keep the h22 because it will keep your tranny in vtec better.

f series tranny is stronger than the h22 tranny....more people are running high boost on f than h tranny, the auto h22 trannys are horrible though, i know people who have gone through 3 before 100,000 miles, just get a full auto h22 swap if u want, but i would do the conversion

it is not "stronger" as you put it. people use it to boost because it has longer gears than an H22 tranny...

yes but it also holds up longer than h22 trannys, 3rd gear grind usually occurs with fewer miles on h trannys than f, along with many h trannys have the 5th gear grind shift fork problem

So your telling us that we can drop a H22A onto an f22 tranny no probs, even though it would be automatic it would have a "DOHC VTEC" on top, and it would be fine, so kinda like LS/VTEC but instead it would be like LX/VTEC??

The ls/vtec is a ls short block with a vtec head. Not an ls tranny with a vtec motor. SO no it would not be an lx vtec.

thanks for the backup advan06. the 3 trannies that went before 100k were probably because they push the tranny to hard. there is no way that my old f22 auto tranny can handle the added power of the h22. it didn't even hold up to the stock f22a6 that came with the tranny. 5 spd is a different story. and yes the f series tranny and the h23 are good for boost because of longer gearing. any one who knows about boosting these trannies will tell you that.
