Just curious as to why you would want a header this crazy on a stock motor?

Why are you worrying about it being too much? ITR motor is a suuped up stock motor. It'll make power.

I'd buy it now, instead of buying a cheap header now... and a better one later.

No a/c header.. must be for serious race applications.

just curious what you guys think is so "crazy" about that header? Why is it so out of the leuge of the itr? because it looks different?

itr1244, talk to the manufacturer rmf or whoever your buying it from and ask what is the intended application of the header.

That's a tight header man. It's not out of the ITR's league. It's perfect. It just needs to be complemented with other goodies. Get some good stuff to go with it. 2.5" exhaust. Tune, Tune, Tune. NIce car also by the way.

i just emailed the guy who made it. and he said.

"our header will work better if you had more mods done to your car. on a stock gsr motor, we have seen gains of about 5-6 whp with our street collector header and 8whp with our merge collector header over a jdm itr header.
i dont know if you could feel 5hp but it is a significant gain.
we have seen as much as 12-15whp on high compression race motors with our merge collector header."
