I know this is a bit off topic but last night i was thinking about these 2 cars. I think personally i'd go for M3.

Which one would you pick and why?

 

M3 is faster stock, Apparently if you put a chip and exhaust on the A4 Presto: 100 extra horsepower. My choice would be M3, gotta love the BMW.

 

No offence, but this should be in the members forum.. or something simular..

 

is it the 02 M3 we're talkin about?? if so, no question, the M3. although i hear audi is coming out with a new s4 with a V8 and around 330hp. and i love how the new A4's look. so until that comes out hopefully, i'd go with the M3.

 

yeah... i love the audi's but the bmw just looks so mean

 

I'm sorry, i gotta say s4 but that's just my evil turbo side speaking. I've seen 450 hp monsters doing high 12's. I don't think you can go wrong either way though.

M3, final answer. Gotta respect their all motor monsters and the sleek styling w/luxury.

I have two friends with modded 2000 Audi S4's. The new M3's are nice but they cost a load. That Audi eninge is one solid peice of work. They come detuned in the US, look at the RS4 in Europe. That car would whoop a M3's *** anyday. Nice thing about Audi's turbo car is that you can change out the ECU real easy and with a few bolt ons to make the car breathe better. You'll fall in love with the turbos. We raced a new M3 and beat it off the line so bad he didn't even bother trying to catch up to us. ALL WHEEL DRIVE BABY. Go test drive one yourself. Oh both Audi's were in the low 13's on the 1/4 mile.

 

i dunno why but i am not a fan of AUDI. one of my friends told me about this one local guy (young guy probably like 21-24 years old) who bought a brand new silver M3...the newest model that just came out is it the 02model? i guess he was on the waiting list for 2 years because there were only two brand new M3s in all of WA state and he got one of them. isnt MSRP for an M3 like $45,000? i guess this guy paid like $70,000 for it because of dealer markup...crazy huh? M3 is a nice *** car! i would get an M3 because of its Performance (handling,speed), Style, and luxury.

S4!!!! all the way! With just a chip you'll be spool'n 17psi. The horsepower potential is a lot greater, cheaper, and easier than the new M3. I would rather have a biturbo V6 S4

 

i've always like audi for some reason. they're solid cars. in fact i was torn between my prelude and an A4. honestly, i wish i had gone with the A4. but i still love my lude. i chose it coz it's cheaper to maintain and handled much better. but the A4's, particularly the S4's are sweet. audi fit and finish is very hard to beat.
