First off I'd like to apologize for this thread, but I see it as necessary since I have no other real way of getting my money back.

Dara (Skank_aSS_Dara) sold me an OBD2 LS ECU about a month and a half ago. I was having trouble converting my '97 RS back to stock and I bought the ECU thinking it would be fine. The ECU he sold me turned out to be burnt out (not sure if he knew this or not) and would not reset properly.

Long story short: I bought another ECU and it worked fine. I still have his burnt ECU and I contacted Dara about 3 weeks ago about it. He said that he would take the ECU back and refund my money, but that he lost his job recently.

I know this probably isn't true considering on March 5th he made a post in another sellers FS thread about how he just bought/picked up a manifold or something. All I want is my money back or for him to trade me back something of equal value.

He sells a lot of things on HT and has a lot of friends here too, so I'm asking for your help. He owes me $60 for the ECU and that's all I want. If you are reading this and know him personally, let him know I mean to collect. Any other info would be helpful as well. Thanks

it was me G!

 

I've sold to this "sam" fellow and I've done numerous transactions with Dara.
My avatar and post count don't show much but Dara is good peoples going through not so good times.

Did a deal with Dara, went great...he even drove 3 hours round trip just to pick up 1 single retainer from JG for me so I'd have the whole set!
