Hopefully you're not planning on using LS pistons.

Click on the link in my sig for my setup. You can make 170-180whp pretty easy and for real cheap. To achieve 200 whp though is a little harder unless you up your displacement and doing some headwork.

honestly in my opinion if you going to go with an LS build it up and then go turbo unless you going vtec theres no point to use an LS.. Stroking it out and doing alot of head work is good but alot of $$$ goes into that build it for a turbo setup

I was going to do non-vtec, but I got ripped off by some **** on my cams, so I dont know now. If anyone needs a 404 ex cam, let me know.

ill agree if your talking about a b16 or gsr. but its just not true with an lsvtec or b20vtec(like you said)

tell me how the vtec head, before it is in vtec, hurts the performance of an lsvtec?

well it wont hurt the performance on a non vtec bolck but b16 and gsrs and torqless wonders that are gutless until high rpm

for the guy that asked the original question, you might want to think about going with 405's. you can always start with the 404's and then get the 405's after.

so you agree with me.

rendering this statement;

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by LG_R32 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">do you know what its like to have power before 5600rpm?</TD></TR></TABLE>

untrue.

which is is my point. if you want to build a non-vtec motor for whatever reason, that is fine. but dont tell this guy that a non-vtec motor has more power than all vtec motors in the lower rmp range.
