Default eg h22 axle problems (not which one work)

Okay ive got a 92 hatch with a h22 swap. It is sitting in hasport mounts. I tried to install my gator racing axles today. When i put the passenger side axle in it was at such a angle it looks like it will break the first time the car is launched. I then moved to the drivers side to do that one. This side is at such a angle the the axle is hitting on the shock fork and will not let the knuckle to be reassembled. I dont feel like this is a axle problem because its the angle. My question is what in the world could make this happen. There isnt a wrong way to put the motor in is it. Any suggestion would be nice. Thank you

I don't see how you could mount it wrong.....do you have the strut fork backwards?
The axles should be at an angle. In my car it looks as if the motor is too far forward about 2" and the axles do get close to the strut fork.

What intermadiate shaft are you using? it sounds like a accord one.

ahhh, accord one is longer right? If so that would make sense.
