LS/Vtec Rough Ideal Please help me!!!
I have an ls/vtec in my 2000 civic si. AEM cold air, dc header, skunk2 itk manifld, aem fuel pressure regulator. I have new spark plugs, cap & rotor, & engine wire harness, w/ stock si ecu. My CEL is on w/ knock sensor circuit malfunction & catalisist below threshold codes. The damn thing has a rough ideal please help me before I freak out and set it on fire or something. LOL

Well since the ls doesnt have a knock sensor and your ecu is looking for one your car is going into limp mode. This results in retarded timing and no power. You need to disable the knock sensor either with an obd1 ecu with uberdata or another method.

Thanks for the reply. I did put a knock sensor on it & it's plugged in. And also the vtec engages with the CEL on, everyone tells me this is impossible. Is it? any other ideas why there would be a KS circuit malfunction?
