if u already have an intake, header, and exhaust why not just supercharge it and use some of the parts u already have.

check out a procharger kit, u can usually find them for 2k with an intercooler. the great thing with prochargers are it comes with their own oil supply so ur not gonig to have to worry about the reliablity. also with the intercooler, bolting up the pc s/c ur going to get 307 whp on their stock 9lb pulley

what you need to do is search around this site, it has everything that you could possibly want to know about turboing your car, like what precautions and prep work you need to do, how to maintain it, tune it, etc. Just use the search function.

Also, if you plan to go turbo down the line, why did you start to mod your car in an all motor fashion? all of the mods you have now will be useless if you go turbo. The intake will be taken by intercooler piping, the header's spot will be filled with a turbo manifold and the exhaust will need to be upgraded for bigger piping. You could go with a supercharger like they said, and that could utilize the parts that you have now.

Are you planning on upgrading the valve train, other than springs and retainers? I'm asking because unless one of the valve springs is broken, there is no good reason to replace these parts unless you are upgrading the cams, valves, etc.

SC that ****! if it's a street car, which i'm guessing that it is, you don't want to be making rediculous amounts of power. 300whp is more than enough.

procharger and vortech...nice kits but essentially a turbo on a stick. the vortech imo is a dyno queen. seems that the procharger has the same characteristics. peak power wont hit till redline....the thing with cf superchargers is the charger makes more power as the rpms increase...notice how procharger and vortech dont list dyno charts on their websites....
i was gonna go supercharger...but did my research and thought it to be not the smartest way to spend my money...reserach before you make such a large investment

That's a nice "beater"...
Why don't you upgrade the Evo?
You may be more successful...

Get a leak down and compression test done.

If you are boosting high then build the engine accordingly.

maybe its not such a good idea turboing the car and giving it to your bro when he first gets his license...
