Default cel #9 after seafoam??

Hey guys,so i seafoamed my d16a6 in my crx and after about 10 minutes of running the car and getting the carbon out,it came up with no. 1 cylinder position cel....Any ideas why this could be?? Need some help,it doesn't really effect performance,in fact it seems to run smoother and is a little faster...but the light is just friggin annoying.Oh yeah and i haven't changed my oil or plugs yet.. Any ideas or anything will help me out thanks guys

Try replacing plugs. Seafoam likes to foul plugs.

Change your oil, change your plugs, disconnect the battery for a few, hook it back up, beat the **** out of it and let us know what happens.

I just diagnosed a code 9 in my car. Unfortunately im unfamiliar with "seafoaming" or whatever it is you did, but ill let you know what my problem is.

Mine ended up being a bad distributor as I lost resistance and had an open loop inside my dizzy on the CYP sensor.

You obd are you running?

CYL sensor is inside the distribuitor
nutting to do with seafoam
or fouled plugs or anything...
ist just a sensor on the dizzy that tells the ecu where the #1 cyl is

unplug the dizzy and check the resistance to be between 350-550 ohms on the sensor..
that way we know if theres a bad dizzy or some wiring problem

Make sure you are checking the correct pin outs on the big plug,

If you were to look at the plug, you would be checking the resistance of the 2 bottom ones (- -).
