Default all purpouse paint on valve cover???

ok my brother just did the stupidest thing, he painted my spark plug cover with ALL PURPOUSE PAINT!!! and i dont kno if i should put it back on since the engine gets hot so wat do u guys think. should i go ahead and put it back on or leave it off??? Thanks in advance!

dude next time dont call the post "uh oh" or anything ridiculous like that......call it somethign that people will be able to search on later if they have the same problem, like "painted valve cover" or something.

The it on there and take a little drive. See ow the paint reacts to the temperature. It should be ok, but just drive it a little to make sure

Do it right the first time. If you have it off the car and you can re-strip that biatch then do it. If not your gonna catch yourself painting it again in a couple months.

That spark plug cover wont strip; the exterior of the valve cover doesn't get too hot anyways.

personally I would have just used paint stripper and done it right the first time...reason? you don't want something wrong going with that paint...it catching fire...and your whole car going up in smoke
