Manifold Swap Injector Noise?
Over the summer I swapped my intake manifold on my B20 to a Skunk2 manifold. Everythings fine except the horrible noise coming from my fuel injectors. It sounds like really loud valve noise, but its coming from ALL 4 injectors and not the valves. The injectors are from my B20 and only have 73,xxx miles on them. Before i did the swap there was no valve noise and no injector noise. I know a couple other people who upon switching manifolds have noticed the same problem. I've already ran fuel injector cleaner and fuel system cleaner multiple times and it doesn't help. The car runs fine and feels great, but the noise is killing me, does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening or how I can fix it?

I think I have the same problem but I didn't switch out my manifold, I put in RC 440 injectors and thats when I noticed the issue, i'll be keeping an eye on this thread for a fix.

I put rc 440s on my car and noticed an increase in cabin noise associated with my injectors. I have a braided line going from the fuel filter to the fuel rail. The braided fuel line and fuel filter actually resonate from the injectors, which can be heard in the car because the fuel filter is attached to the firewall. Its kinda annoying. Im trying to figure out a solution. Ive tried some thin rubber behind the fuel filter but that didnt work.

thats what I don't get about mine, because I didn't change any part of the fuel system. It was just all swapped over to the new manifold. it makes the car sound like a clock

update: 3 injectors are quiet now after re-assembly of my port and polished head/manifold, but the 1 injector is soooo loud, it sounds like a rocker but i know its not b/c there all checked for. any ideas? fixes?

hmm when i put in my 550's last week. i kept hearing a whining noise and clickin sometimes. is that what you guys are hearing? well i flooded my motor with fuel since the ECU i got was chipped incorrectly. ****. i ended up just taking off my 550's and went back with stock 240's
