Has anyone else (other than the demo R) put a full Hytech system on their near stock R? I am wondering if they got the 20whp too with the use of cam gears and a V-AFC of course.

VagoITR just dynoed at 189 last sunday on the clayton dyno. He has a hytech header/exhaust, cam gears, and a VAFC.

Here is my Hytech experience: Friend has a very built GSR with a DC 4-2-1..we tuned and it was only making 186. Pretty sad. He purchased Hytech header and we bolted it up for a baseline and boom...202 just like that. I was amazed! This was with a Greddy SP exhaust, too. I`m a believer

It's only $2000 for a Full Exhaust System from Hytech!

 

does anyone know how the full setup does as far as emissions goes?

 

From my understanding, the whole system is SMOG legal.

If it passes CA standards! I'm pretty sure it'll pass every where else too.

 

I'm pretty sure it passed with flying colors. Checked out my vin on carfax just for fun and it showed when it was smogged by john...result, pass.

It comes with a carsound cat now and sould be resonated by this time. I thought the resonator John put in would hurt power but as some of you r guys saw at the dyno day, this was not the case.

 

But when will it be available? He keeps pushing back the date.
