Default Cusco oil catch can?

got a question for you turbo experts...
i see that the people running catch cans for turbo setups has an air filter on top of the catch can..
is it bad or is my cusco catch can restricting any thing? because the oil lines seems like they been sucking so hard that the hoses are getting tighter.
and one more thing what do i put back on the pcv valve??

thanks

I have the cusco catch can as well and i thought that you connect the tubing from one end of the catch can to the pvc valve and the other from bottom of the intake manifold (GSR) back to the other outlet on the catch can. I noticed that it is far easier to install on a ITR Intake Manifold because the hose connects up top on the intake. The stock tubing that goes from the pcv to intake is only like 4 inches long and its very narrow.

Not to jack your thread but anyone know how you get the large metal reinforced plastic tubing to connect to the smaller pcv valve? The stock tubbing is tiny as hell compared to what came with the cusco can.
