Default 88-89 headlights into 91

Is it possible to use 88-89 headlights and put them into the 91. Do you have to change the brackets around or will they just go in..Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can use 88-89 headlights on 90-91's as long as you use the same year bracket as the headlights. Hope that made sense.

Your '88-89 corner markers will not work with the '90-91 headlight bucket. They attach differently.

EXACTLY what he said. I was rolling for some time without corner until I got me the right headlight/corner combo.

Good Day,

I've actually kinda wondered how difficult it would be to put the 90-91 corners on a 88/89. Guess this answers that. Would the fenders have to be different? Not looking to do it, just in curiosity. One of those knowledge things where I'll never apply it in life, but hell, I know it. LoL

I put 88-89 headlights into my 90, just swap the brackets.

the fenders are the same, but the little clips that goe into the fenders are different. the 88 and 89 have screw anchors in the holes, and the 90-91 have sliders in the holes of the fenders. just switch those around when you do it.
