ok maybe you guys could help me with this. i was driving my mom's completely stock 1997 honda accord ex, 4cyl with about 120,000 miles on it. because it wasn't my car, i messed around a bit, did some 360's etc... when i parked it, i smelled gas. i look under the car and its dripping gas right below the engine bay. i'm not sure what i did caused it, but i highly doubt running the car hard would cause that. would it be a fuel pump? any help please.

 

bump..i did a search and nothing. It could be the fuel pump, anyone?

 

have you checked under the tank for any leaks?
get under the car and look where the gas is coming from

 

you have to pop the hood and see for yourself. Check the fuel return line, and the fuel line coming from the fuel filter.
