Default Urgent!: Code 14 IACV after turbo install. rough idle

some background: 93 del sol Si (d16z6) with custom turbo kit. running Uberdata P28 with BBKA' map and 450cc injectors.. Upon finishing the install, the car starts up and runs fine for about 5-10 secs then it drops to 500rpm for a second or 2 and goes back up to 1500rpm and keeps doing this. It's throwing a code 14 (IACV). It didnt have this problem before the turbo install. Could faulty wiring on the resistor box cause this? Also we tried putting the AC on it stayed at a some-what smooth, constant 500-600rpm. Any help or input would be awesome. We also checked the vacuum lines we added and there appears to be no leaks.

Funny I been going through the same issues with IACV for a year now. I even went to buy a new one from honda, worked good for a few blocks then it started its crap again.
I dont know why my turbo y8 is doing this, but the only way I been able to stop the problem for a while is by blasting WD40 in the hole to make the IACV more slippery.. It works for me and lasts for like a month before I have to spray it again. I dont know why but its working.
I never had this happen either till the turbo. Let me know what you find out, cuz i been living with this problem for a long time.

Well, we switched IACV's with another car that has a good working one and it's still doing the same exact thing.

I have the same problem with code14, the motor idles perfect at 750rpm then when I plug in th iac it automatically opens and the rpm jumps up to 2000...... the car has a obd2b gsr converted to obd1 and I'm useing a obd0-obd1 harness in the car. It's a 90 cRx Si, besides for code 14 it runs fine, and I have no resistor box what could cause this??????

I'm having this same issue. Only it idles really low for about 30 seconds then dies. If you connect the IACV to the power wire it idles higher then dies immediately. What gives? 4 injector wires going to the black wires on resistor box. 12v power wire going to input on resistor box and then 3 left over. If they touch anything the car runs better for two seconds and dies. If they don't touch anything it runs for 30 seconds really low and can't rev an dies.
