I'm wondering about wheel and tire weights.
How do they affect your car on drag launches, cornering, acceleration (from rolling start), and high speeds. I know that rotating mass kills your acceleration so lite weight is the way to go, but are there advantages to heavier wheels at all?
And how do tire diameters play?
Do you want a light weight, large diameter wheel or the other way around?
I'm also going to be buying some wheels soon, so are 15's or 17's better for Drag racing? and how about Auto X and Road Racing?
What tire sizes should I run with a 15 inch wheel for Drag and Road racing?
How about a 17 inch wheel for drag and road?
Anything helps, thanks. PDX

For speed, the lighter and smaller the wheel the better. That's why you see so many people with 15" Rota Slipstreams or 15" Spoon SW388's.
