"Hondata have not been able to decode any 96-01 computer including the V6 computers. As the automatic transmission is controlled by the ECU, an OBD ECU swap will not work. If you have a manual Accord an ECU swap is possible"
In order of recommendation these are the available ecu swaps. These ecus are a direct require an adaptor cable.
94 B18B 37820 P74 A01 No VTEC stage2, stage3, stage4
they list this as an ok swap for an ECU using thier adapter cable but theres not VTEC control so with just the adapter and the B18B ECU i wouldnt have VTEC?
Would i have vtec if i used thier say stage 2 controller?
Thnx all.

Well if anyone is interested we opted not to gut the stock cat and we put in a free flow cat instead the free flow didnt have the port for the second o2 sensors so we cut out the old one and welded it into the free flow. bolted it up drove it tightened it up again. No CEL and noticeable to your foot power gains.
