How do you get your car on jackstands?
This may sound like a really dumb question..but how do you jack up your car and then place it on the reinfornced points with the jack stands? I was changing my oil today...and since I know not to work under a car w/o using hte stands I used the underside of the car to jack it up...now I dunno if its cuz of what I did..but I think the underside of the car is now like dented.
So I lowered it after that and then used the motor to jack it up and then place the jack stands under there. Now I'm not so sure thats the correct way...so could someone let me where other reinforced points are that can be used to place a car on jackstands?

look under the front bumper. in the middle there is a little arrow pointing towards a bump. that is the jack point for the front of the car.
besides the side front and rear support points, there is a jack lift platform in the front of the teg and in the rear of the teg.
the one on the front is in the center and looks like a little wedge, flat on top and sloped toward the front.
the one on the rear has/is a steel loop (towing hook)
those ar the proper jacking points, then you fit the jackstands under the side points.
